The vital link in your safety system. Our range of fall arrest and restraint lanyards connects your harness to your anchor point, providing the security you need at height. Featuring integrated shock absorbers to reduce impact force, we stock single and twin-leg options for scaffolding, roofing, and platform work.
A safety harness is useless without a secure connection. Lanyards are the device that bridges the gap between your body wear and the structure you are working on. At Safetywear UK, we stock two main types of lanyards to suit your specific risk assessment: Restraint Lanyards, which are a fixed length to prevent you from reaching an edge where a fall could occur, and Fall Arrest Lanyards, which are designed to catch you if a fall does happen.
Crucially, all our fall arrest lanyards are equipped with an energy-absorbing pack (conforming to EN 355). In the event of a fall, this pack deploys to slow your descent and limit the impact force on your body to below 6kN, preventing severe internal injuries. We offer Single Leg lanyards for stationary work (like in a cherry picker) and Twin Leg (or double) lanyards for moving around complex structures like scaffolding, allowing you to remain "100% tied off" by hooking one leg on before unhooking the other. With tough kernmantle rope or elasticated webbing options to prevent tripping, our lanyards keep you connected and safe.
